Death is supposed to happen in other people's lives, not in yours. Your world has been tossed upside down and no matter how hard you try, you just cannot seem to turn it right side up. You feel constantly judged for how you are grieving your loss. Well-meaning friends and family often offer unsolicited advise and platitudes. And, while they may genuinely believe they are being helpful, they only demonstrate time and again that they just don't get it.
