Throughout my career, my focus has been on treating children and teens with anxiety, depression, ADHD and trauma. Some of these children and teen struggle with their family relationships, friendships, or have behavioral issues at school. They are in need of a trusted counselor who will provide empathy, emotional regulation skills, and other tools to help them best manage their thoughts, feelings and behaviors. They want to have more positive relationships with less conflict, better management of their anger or other difficult feelings, and hope to feel more confident in their ability to resolve conflicts with family or friends. I specialize in treating children, teen, and women with anxiety/mood issues, ADHD, trauma, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, parent-child conflict, grief and loss, and self-harm behaviors. I also provide family therapy and Christian counseling when requested. I offer a warm and client-centered setting, with the hope of building trust and emotional safety.
