Pregnancy, birth and the postpartum period is a time of transformation in a woman’s life. During this time the mother needs care and encouragement from her circle of support. Unfortunately, many women do not receive the care and support they need during this time in their lives. I hear from women daily who have struggled through infertility, difficult pregnancies, miscarriages, stillbirths, traumatic births, postpartum depression and anxiety with little support.
