Do you ever desire to speak your reality out loud, but feel resistant to do so because it may hurt those closest to you, cause retaliation from others, or subject you to guilt or shame? That is where a counselor comes in. It is my privilege to give people a safe place to speak their reality, and be a witness to the pain, frustration, bitterness, shame and so many other emotions we as humans experience and struggle to work through. If you are in need of a witness to your reality, need to work through past hurt, feel stuck, or need someone to walk along side you through a troubling time, I would be pleased to be your helper. I am trained in EMDR, and use other evidenced-based practices to meet my clients’ needs. My clinical background includes working with probation and parole, armed forces, in-patient services, and community based programs.
