Typically, my client's have been told that a problem exists in the areas of personality, substance abuse, or both. They have trouble coping with, or interfacing with their emotional environments. I understand that meeting the client where they're at emotionally and accepting how they see their existence through their eyes, is our foundation to treatment. My therapeutic approach is designed to empower clients from a position of knowledge, versus fear. Unless we can uncover the reason(s) for acting out, and develop alternatives that meet the client's needs, then it is unlikely that change(s) can be sustained. Focus is on Depression, Anxiety, Personality Disorders, Substance Abuse/Recovery, Traumas, Relationships, LGBT, Family, Anger, and in a word, "LIFE" issues along with PTSD. Redbrick offers individualized treatment plans...I listen to you; your challenge(s) drives treatment, not cookie-cutter ideas!
