I appreciate you for taking the time and effort to read my page – thank you! I identify as a Latinx licensed clinical social worker with over 25 years of indirect and direct clinical practice experience. My overall life experiences and professional muscle is not one dimensional or in other words - I have mastered an ability to connect and meet individuals, families, and communities exactly where they are in their struggles and life stories to support the internal muscle of change. I have also learned to adapt ethical standards, evidenced base interventions and core values to further enhance my professional skill set. Furthermore, I appreciate the development and importance of personal and professional insights that foster self-empowerment and generates solutions. Every struggle is unique to an individual, to a family or to a couple, which at times can contribute to toxic belief systems that are connected to painful life memories. This pain can at times stunt growth.
