My name is Dr. Megumi Maruya Makepeace. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and hold a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology. I was raised on Oahu in a traditional Japanese family, spent several years on the Mainland—which has brought all these experiences to my multicultural approach to therapy. I am fully aware of the cultural makeup of Hawai’i, the unique and diverse cultures of the local population, as well as those new to the island. I am passionate to give back to the community & providing support where needed.
