As a therapist I have provided therapeutic services over the last 14+ years to clients seeking additional support, experience, and expertise surrounding issues related to intimate and family relationship dynamics. Part of my work with clients has also included understanding the impact that Acute Stress and Trauma has on our lives and exploring how our Culture and Identity inform our individual and communal decision making. In addition, clients have also sought me out to work through past unresolved issues related to foster care and adoption, and ongoing stressors related to being a Black Woman. I enjoy working with individual and relationships in a nonjudgmental, affirming, and person-centered approach. I also strive to show up as honest, respectful, open-minded, and "honoring your story". My approach also includes the exploration of meaning-making from life experiences, exploring family patterns, and promoting healthier personal relationships
