Welcome! My name is Jason (He/Him) and I serve individual adults (18+) who may be struggling with relationship difficulties, depression, anxiety, life transitions, trauma, addiction recovery, and career/existential fulfillment. There are many details and sensitivities that can be overlooked by society at large - including intergenerational pressures, systemic and institutional oppression, conflicting gendered expectations, and intersectional identities and tensions. Understanding these nuances, I work with majority Black, queer, and/or people of color, but strive to be open to all peoples regardless of background. I come from a client-centered background that creates an environment that is comfortable, non-judgmental, and empathetic. I mostly work from a psychodynamic approach that emphasizes the development of relationship awareness and patterns to each other. I also use CBT, DBT, and somatic informed approaches to address short term goals.
