Hello! I am Richard Gibbons and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor based in Jacksonville, Florida, with over 25 years of experience in the field of mental health and rehabilitative counseling. I earned my Master’s degree from the University of South Florida in 2000 and spent more than two decades working in a co-occurring agency setting where I helped both adolescents and adults navigate complex challenges. My practice is deeply personal to me, as I draw from my own 38-year history of recovery to provide a therapeutic environment rooted in honesty, genuine connection, and an open mind.
