I have been employed in the mental health fields since 1995. I have been a licensed professional counselor since 2007. I have been in private practice since 2012. The idea client is one that is experiencing mental health symptoms stemming from struggles with secure self-attachment and/or self-regulation issues. An idea client is willing to discuss themself in relationship to others in their world. Getting my client's mental health regulated better is what we work on in my office. We apply professional mental health theories and/or practices as needed to achieve a goal of better mental health regulation and functioning.
