Sometimes we can feel like we nobody will ever understand us, or accept us for who we really are inside. That can be a lonely and painful experience. I want clients to know that their uniqueness is something to be celebrated, and that we all need a little help at times with finding our groove. After receiving diagnoses of Autism Spectrum Disorder and ADHD as an adult, I became aware of the need for neurodivergent-affirming therapists and went back to school to become one, myself. I also have a strong connection to the LGBTQIA+ community and align with the Health at Every Size (HAES) framework.
