About
Whether seeking individual, relational, or family therapy, I hold the belief that we are all made up of many parts—each carrying its own story, wisdom, and burden—and that no part is inherently bad. Along the way, we gather narratives: stories told about us, stories we tell ourselves, the story we tell about the problem, and stories inherited from dominant culture. These stories often shape how our parts see themselves and one another, influence how we connect in relationships, and impact the way we relate to our own inner system. It is often in this tangle of stories and parts that the call for therapy arises. I approach our work together through an Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Liberation Psychology lens that is rooted in radical social justice and liberation-based healing. In our work, I invite curiosity and compassion toward all parts, while also recognizing how oppressive systems can exile or silence parts of us.
