After 25 years as a counselor, I appreciate how important it is for all of us to sometimes find a safe place to talk through difficult emotions and experiences, feel more understood, and regain the hope and confidence necessary to enact meaningful life changes. I help clients with a wide range of concerns including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and more. I invite my clients to help me understand what is most important to them, allow themselves the opportunity to explore both the fears and strengths at play in their lives, and embrace new ways of caring for themselves which fit with their preferences and values. My practice is generalist in nature and focused on responding to the particular needs of individual adults and adolescents. While I am especially interested in helping clients work through their emotional experience of life events, I also value the role concrete coping skills can play in helping clients move forward. I do not offer couples counseling.
