I work with children and teens treating a variety of concerns including mood and attentional issues, defiance and conduct problems, social skills deficits, substance abuse, academic underperformance, and general family conflict. I enjoy working with adolescents and their families and am well versed in treating at-risk teens and those who have been resistant or challenging to engage in counseling. My treatment approach is family-oriented and my focus is on educating and empowering parents while working individually with children and teens to help them understand their behavior and find healthier ways to cope with the stresses they are facing.
