I’m licensed to see patients in both New York state as well as District of Columbia. As a trained psychoanalyst, I believe there are aspects of ourselves we’re not fully aware of. These things can have a big impact on what we think, how we feel, and how we act — in essence, how we experience ourselves and others. The reason we’re not aware of these things is because sometimes they’re too painful or confusing — so our minds have a way of keeping them out of our direct awareness. My role is to help you explore, discover, and express your feelings, thoughts, and experiences. Sometimes this may include complex and uncomfortable fears, desires, and questions — but I will provide an open, nonjudgmental, and curious space in which to accompany you through this process.
