For four decades I have been privileged as a marriage and family therapist to make a difference in people's lives. Known for my Jungian orientation and writings, my long-standing interest in all the many forms and expressions of human sexuality, as an "out" gay therapist and activist, as well as my background in pastoral counseling and spiritual direction, my post-COVID practice is now focused exclusively on long-term, individual, in-person psychodynamic treatment in my Berkeley office. Though my practice is currently full, I will be taking new clients as of January 2025, so please do contact me if you are interested.
