I am a clinical trauma therapist, and earned my Master of Social Work degree from New York University. I dedicate my time as a therapist working with substance misuse, sexual compulsivity, relationship restoration, trauma and queer experience. I am a person of color who understands immigration issues and I also speak Portuguese. I understand how shame affects many of us and its correlation to issues such as addiction and difficulties with intimacy. When working with LGBTQIA+ clients I recognize the importance of using a sex positive and non-shaming approach. I strive to help clients to connect with authenticity.
