Mental health difficulties often arise in the context of an absence of close interpersonal relationships. Symptoms of depression, anxiety, trauma, and severe, persistent mental illness can be successfully treated through improvements in one’s capacity to develop and maintain adaptive, healthy interpersonal connections and engagement in meaningful and enjoyable activities. I have more than 36 years practicing clinical psychology. I retired from the Department of Veterans Affairs on May 31, 2022 and I'm now expanding my private practice. Flexible schedule. I'm available for both teletherapy and in-office session. Lots of free parking.
