I was born into a family that migrated from Mexico to the U.S. to build a better future. We faced loss and hardship—my father passed when I was young, and my mother navigated single parenthood and her own mental health. Those experiences shaped me: they taught me resilience, compassion, and a deep respect for how hard it can be to ask for help.
