As a mother of 3 and someone who personally struggled with Depression, OCD and Anxiety postpartum, my ideal client would be a mother struggling with any type of mood disorder either during pregnancy or postpartum. Or perhaps a woman who is grieving a miscarriage/pregnancy loss. They would be seeking support to help feel seen and heard in their struggles but also to gain effective coping tools and techniques to better manage their symptoms. Their goals might be to learn how to balance stressors better or start to dive into processing hurts and begin healing. Learning self love and self compassion are also areas I value in therapy.
