As a psychotherapist and psychoanalyst, I am interested in how relationships heal and transform individuals. I work closely with my patients to illuminate areas in which they feel disconnected from others, and then together, we come up with ways to bridge those gaps. I have specialties in work with survivors of incest and sexual abuse, couples counseling and parenting issues, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer adolescents and adults, as well as experience working with dissociation due to trauma. I also am EMDR-trained and find that this can be helpful when patients feel stuck in certain areas of their lives.
