My name is Roy Berman, L.C.S.W., B.C.D. , C.A.S.A.C., C.S.A.T. I have been a psychotherapist over forty years and I was clinically trained at Columbia University School of Social Work. I also have over two thousand hours of training in the addictions. My areas of specialty are alcoholism, substance abuse, gambling, sex addiction, compulsive over-eating, co-dependency and how these disorders affect the family. I am a psychodynamic and interactive psychotherapist. I actively get involved with my clients, constantly offering feedback and interpretation, not afraid to actively participate in the therapeutic process.
