I am a licensed professional counselor working in the field since 2000. I work with individuals struggling with depression, grief, relationship issues, and trauma. I am trauma-informed and attachment-informed. I utilize traditional talk therapy, somatic therapies, and Prolonged Exposure therapy. Many of our problems can be a result of our nervous system. I will help you navigate the nervous system states of fight and flight or collapse. This is often the underlying problem to our emotions. I can help you navigate the world of trauma and grief to help you release emotional trauma with these therapies. I have seen great results using somatic therapies in my clients that have depression and/or anxiety. I have been trained in Prolonged Exposure therapy which helps individuals who are dealing with trauma. My clients who have walked through PE have had great success. I also add somatic experiences to help move you through the process of trauma and loss.
