I specialize in helping adults and couples understand internal and interpersonal factors. We work together to make use of this understanding to facilitate healing and conflict resolution, and to foster meaningful lifestyle changes and satisfying relationships. I have practiced psychotherapy for more than 30 years, have had extensive post-graduate training in psychodynamic psychotherapy at the St. Louis Psychoanalytic Institute and in family therapy at Provident Counseling. For many years I taught at the St. Louis Psychoanalytic Institute in the Advanced Psychotherapy training program and in the Community Education program.
