True healing happens when we stop judging our behaviors and start getting curious about them. I work with a wide range of individuals who are looking for a new perspective on themselves. I view therapy as a collaborative, flexible process — if that means sitting on the floor to help you feel grounded and safe, then that is exactly what we will do. Together, we will look at how your personal history and early relationships have drawn the map for how you view yourself, helping you move from self-criticism to lasting self-compassion. Having worked in psychiatric crisis care, I’ve learned how to sit with deep pain and confusion without judgment. At the same time, my work outside of therapy room, as a psychology professor keeps me deeply connected to the 'how' and 'why' of the healing process.
