Providing therapy, being a listener and helping others in essence found me. I did not initially plan to become a therapist but I am so happy and proud I did. I receive joy from being able to find the right words and work through the issue with my client. Therapy is a very important tool, whether it is intensive treatment or being a supportive ear. My biggest strength is my ability to actively listen and guide my clients in improving their own insight. I believe when we are aware we can learn new life skills and actively make the changes to improve how we think about and respond to stressors. I have worked in the helping field for over 20 years. Beginning my career with developmentally delayed, then preventive services, foster care, Autism spectrum and currently providing child and adult psychiatric services. I enjoy the reward of helping! I am licensed to provide treat in New York and Georgia.
