Sometimes life is just a lot! Whether we’re wading through a world on fire or just trying to feel better however we know how, it’s nice to have other hands to help us hold it all. Therapy can be a solid place to find your footing and feel supported. I’d love to be in it with you. I’m a counseling intern at Desert Lotus Counseling, currently completing my second-year MSW practicum. When working with people, I really believe clients should be the tellers of their own stories, so that you feel fully listened to and our therapeutic relationship stays as collaborative as possible. I also use anti-oppressive perspectives to understand our contexts—that it’s meaningful to acknowledge how systems of power shape our lived experiences.
