I believe that psychological treatment is a collaboration between the patient and therapist. Utilizing evidence-based cognitive-behavioral therapy interventions, I specialize in working with adolescents and adults with eating disorders, obsessive-compulsive spectrum disorders, and bipolar disorder. I strive to help my clients learn about the function of emotion and the nature of their problems, and to develop practical, effective coping skills for tolerating feelings, making effective choices, and living life according to their values. I take a weight-inclusive, anti-diet, approach to body image and food concerns.
