I believe no one is exempt from healing or wholeness. My philosophy is that we can learn the skills needed to engage our courage, cultivate trust, embrace truth, and realize the wholeness inherent within. We do not exist in isolation, and that is a clue to healing. As a therapist I companion your journey, guiding with perceptivity and clinical expertise but ultimately cultivating client self-determination, nurturing the innate guidance within, and honoring the client as the authority over their own personhood. Investing in ourselves and our healing benefits everyone, and that investment comes back to us in unforeseen beautiful ways. With a warm spirit and receptivity, I bring a compassionate approach to my clients combined with an integrative theoretical model based in Somatic Psychotherapy which also draws on Interpersonal Therapy, Attachment Theory, Polyvagal Theory, EMDR, IFS, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Humanistic Therapy, and Existential Therapy.
