I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 20 years counseling experience in private practice, on military bases, and in hospitals. I have a statewide, online practice, and am particularly interested in working with rural folks. I help clients' focus on their personal and professional development goals, including relationships, parenting, and career shifts. I utilize research-based frameworks such as Gottman, Montessori, and Firestone in my work with couples and families. I particularly emphasize family systems theory. For individuals, I use writers useful for opening up creativity, such as Richo, Cameron, and Lamott. ​ My overall goal as a counselor / life coach is to assist people in increasing their awareness of patterns of thought and behaviors, and to support them as they learn, strategize, and implement fresh, positive presence, habits, and practices.
