I specialize in looking at a person in their environment and working with him/her from there. The various environments I look at include: social, family, home, community, work, and education and how they relate to each other. Taking into consideration diet, level of exercise, extra curricular activities, financial situation, supplements, and support system we will work together to achieve an appropriate level of success for you and your family. I have an in office therapy dog as well, she is an incredible asset to my practice. I do not believe that medication is always the best solution, there are many other options that may be more beneficial and less harmful. Taking a realistic perspective of the issues and utilizing cognitive behavioral techniques complimented with a holistic approach has shown to be very effective in working with mental and behavioral health issues.
