Hi, I'm Sam! I offer a warm, empathic, and nonjudgmental space for clients. As a queer person myself, I have a passion for working with queer, trans, and gender-expansive clients. I know how important a good therapeutic experience is, as my own positive experiences in therapy inspired me to become a counselor. In sessions, I have an integrative, trauma-informed approach that relies heavily on psychodynamic and multicultural theories. This means that I practice traditional talk therapy, but with a deeper understanding of social, cultural, and systemic impacts on the client.
