I’m Sam Nelson, a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern with over 3 years of experience in the mental health field. I’ve had the privilege of working with children, teens, and adults facing a range of clinical concerns, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, OCD, borderline personality disorder, behavioral addictions, and trauma. In my work, I draw from evidence-based therapy modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), exposure and response prevention (ERP), motivational interviewing, play therapy, EMDR, and expressive arts techniques.
