People seek counseling at those times they are needing help to navigate difficult challenges. Often this involves relationships, or it may be the need for self awareness or dealing with life and the pain it brings us. I provide a safe place, a caring sanctuary, where you can share openly when you are ready. I am an experienced Pastoral Counselor and LMFT . Each person I see is totally unique and a "new book" ready to be read. You become my 'teacher" as you share your life, your relationships, your joy and your pain. I am a very good "student" who strives to help you find clarity, understanding, direction and hope. The basis for healing in psychotherapy rests in a trusting and consistent therapeutic relationship. Human suffering and pain are not abnormal, but we often feel overwhelmed, confused and lost. Change and healing begin by inviting you to teach me about who you are and what your true self desires. That puts us "on the road" to self/other awareness and healing.
