Look, life is weird and hard. Half the time it feels like we’re all just winging it and hoping no one notices. I won’t bore you with accomplishments or pretend I’ve cracked some secret code to happiness — I haven’t. What I have figured out is that the chaos is always going to be there, & I like standing with people who refuse to let the chaos run the whole show. I’ll never tilt my head and ask, “How does that make you feel?” — because that’s weird. I’m the therapist who actually talks with you. Sometimes I’ll crack a joke, sometimes I’ll push you, & sometimes I’ll just sit in the shit with you because that’s all you can do that day.
