My name is Samantha Bailo, and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Hawai'i. I take an eclectic approach but use skills from Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Internal Family Systems in sessions with my clients. As a yoga instructor, I can weave therapeutic movement, breath work, and meditation into sessions as well. I utilize DBT for increased emotional regulation, mindfulness skills, and assertive communication. I incorporate Internal Family Systems to increase self-compassion and self-awareness.
