I am passionate about what I do, and I love being able to hear, see, and understand people. I am an attachment focused therapist specializing in Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT). The type of therapy I offer utilizes relentless empathy and aims at getting to the heart of the matter; making sense of and understanding the deeper emotional motivations underlying our surface behaviors, exploring and expanding on unseen and unspoken emotions. I aim to help build courage for sharing these hidden emotions and express unmet needs, while breathing compassion into the hurt space within us, while also making a conscious effort to take new steps. While I am heavily rooted in attachment theory and EFT, I also have specialized training in other approaches such as Gottman Method Couple’s Therapy, Gottman Emotion Coaching Parenting, Child-Parent Relationship Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), while always maintaining a person centered approach.
