A lot of our struggles come from being cut off from who we really are. Early in life, we learn ways to protect ourselves from pain, by pushing down feelings, staying quiet, or trying to keep everything under control and those strategies make sense at the time. But over the years, those protections start to feel less like shields and more like walls keeping us disconnected from our needs, desires, and even joy. Therapy with me is a space where all parts of you are welcome. A space to slow down, get curious, and connect with what really matters to you. You don’t need to have it all figured out, you just need to be willing to begin.
