I believe that wellness includes our physical, emotional and mental being. My focus in counseling is to help you work through the road blocks caused by trauma that are affecting your well-being. Together we will help you achieve mental health wellness. I am a certified EMDR therapist working with clients who have experienced all forms of trauma. I have my Advanced Certification in Mindfulness Based Therapy and utilize many of the techniques of mindfulness to manage symptoms of anxiety. I have 10 years of experience working with children and adolescents both as a mental health counselor and as a Special Education teacher. I work with pre-teens, teens and adults.
