It is a great honor to be able to work with clients as they navigate the challenges that life presents. Accompanying individuals as they explore their internal and external worlds is sacred work; work that I enjoy deeply. I focus on connection, building a therapeutic space, identifying what struggles exist and then work to find relief, resolve and acceptance. I have worked with children of all ages, their parents and adults as they navigate depression, anxiety, grief and major life transitions. My work with clients is characterized by unconditional positive regard, warmth, openness and honesty. The themes that emerge in my work with clients of all ages are navigating feelings of overwhelm, depression, anxiety and life transitions. My work with adolescents can be best summarized as helping teens and their parents with the oftentimes bumpy transition from childhood to adulthood. Adult clients often want to get to the root of a problem and heal.
