My goal in counseling is to come alongside my client to help them reach their own personal goals while overcoming the struggles, obstacles and burdens that are standing in their way. The focus is to lead a more peaceful and contented life. I work with ages 16 and up. I have a lot of experience working with children, adolescents and families through a vast variety of challenges and am passionate about healthy family dynamics- especially in couples/ marital counseling. I take a caring approach and view the client/ counselor relationship as a team. I have worked in many different settings throughout my career. Some of these settings included a group home, hospital, an emergency crisis center and a high school. These experiences contribute to my ability to connect with clients in different ages and seasons of life- especially people navigating parenthood.
