Thank you for taking the time to review my brief profile. My name is Dr. Sara Shuffer. I hold a Doctorate in Social Work and have been in the healthcare field for 20 years, and a licensed clinical social worker for 15 years. I have extensive experience in healthcare, and have worked with many clients on grief and loss issues, depression, cultural conflicts, intergenerational and relationship stressors, work/life balance issues, and other life stressors that can potentially affect the daily living of a person. I am very humble to meet every client that decides to select me as their therapist. I want them to be open and honest about their concerns and their problems that they are having in their lives. I want to help clients feel comfortable and help them extend their trust by allowing me to journey with them in their healing process. I'll provide compassion and listening throughout the first session so that I can develop a plan of care for them.
