About

I came into the therapy profession as a second career. I hold a PhD in musicology and spent my earlier years working as a musician and music teacher/professor. I find that many of the same skills I used in music/teaching also apply to therapy. Each individual's goals and path toward healing and growing are unique, and I see my job as being a guide on that path. I believe clients already have the answers inside, and our work together is to uncover the truth that lives within. I lean heavily on understanding family systems and historical patterns that shaped who we are as we work together to decide who we can become.
