Beneficial therapy is founded upon a strong relationship between the therapist and the client. There is something healing about connecting with another person, about being seen, about feeling understood. With each of my clients, I work to create a warm relationship where they know they will be met with respect and empathy. I also recognize that for some people, especially people with non-dominant cultural identities, mental health care has not always felt welcoming. With that in mind, I work to provide a space where everyone can experience a sense of belonging and feel safe being their full selves. I am LGBTQIA+ affirming.
