I have been working alongside individuals and families impacted by addiction, along with the devastation it brings with it for over 20 years. Driven to support others through my own lived experience, dysfunctional family patterns, lack of direction/purpose, and battling at times a debilitating diagnosis of ADHD. I came to realize I was drowning and needed change. My "why" has always been my younger brother. struggle with IV drug use, alcoholism, homelessness, and criminal justice involvement. He found his way out of hell into healing by traveling and connecting to others along the way. Using humanistic therapy approach the focus is on self actualizations, growth needs, and moving you from "being a product of your environment" (victim stance) to being a product for your environment (beast mode). The goal is to find meaning, purpose, and fulfillment so you can one mindfully fill your own bucket without destructive maladaptive behaviors.
