I'm an individual and couples therapist who desires to create a space where those who walk into the therapy room are met with the opportunity to unpack the fullness of their experiences with honesty. I specialize in working with complex trauma, spiritual trauma, shame, and women's issues (infertility, miscarriage grief, parenting and PPD). With couples I have experience with premarital (trained in prepare & enrich) and marital counseling, including long-term relational issues and emotional and sexual affairs. I approach therapy through a relational psychodynamic, attachment focus, systemic family system lens. This work is done by an empathetic approach which aims to look at the deeper issues, often we are not aware of, that have created patterns and defenses that often lead to over or under functioning and disconnection. This is best done in long term work.
