Available for anyone in Georgia or New York. Specializing in couples and individuals, I consider counseling a collaborative practice in communication and connection. You set the goals, my job is to create an accepting and supportive space to process loss, heal trauma, manage stress, make strong decisions, and better understand relationships. Drawing from different disciplines to treat the whole person. Integrating mindfulness, spotting patterns, reflecting back what I see, and offering psycho-education when desired. I am transparent, honest, and will call it as I see it, but always defer to you as the expert. My goal for my clients is self-actualization, standing confidently in your truth, and feeling whole. I have a lot of experience working with racial, sexual, and gender identity development. I'm very comfortable talking about subjects most are not, but will not make it our focus if it's not yours.
