As a neurodivergent, trauma-informed, LGBTQ+ therapist, Sarah offers specialization in the treatment of these demographics as well as any other minority who is struggling to navigate the current state of the world. They are passionate about supporting those who experience chronic illness and/or pain, disabilities, trauma, victims of domestic violence, and racial injustice. They understand that experiencing the world in a way that differs from the norm requires a unique approach to counseling and healing. Sarah has an understanding of lived experiences on these topics, and continues to engage in research to stay up to date. Sarah uses a client-led, collaborative, and relational approach to therapy; they are sex-positive, kink allied, and affirm non-monogamous relationships. They utilize various techniques and modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Acceptance and Commitment (ACT), and person-centered therapy.
