I started my career in social work as a crisis counselor at a shelter for survivors of intimate partner violence and sexual assault in San Luis Obispo, California. After 5 years, I decided to make things legit and off to graduate school I went. My clinical training as a child therapist led me to working with people across the lifespan: children, families, and older adults. I also spent years working in the county jail, providing mental health services for incarcerated individuals. In addition to my therapy practice, I work for Alameda County Behavioral Health as a clinical supervisor for the Crisis System of Care. I am a Taiwanese American daughter of immigrants and am conversationally fluent in Mandarin. 我會說中文。雖然不太好，但我可以! I am a Bay Area native and live in San Ramon, California. I am passionate about my yoga practice (any Ashtanga yogis out there?) as well as living into my faith values.
